Orthotic fitters provide independent patient care through the provision and adjustment of off the shelf and pre-fabricated orthoses, as defined by the ABC Scope of Practice. The certified fitter can be privileged to work under indirect supervision** of a certified orthotist on projects of moderate complexity or of a custom nature.
