In this position, you'll have the chance to support patients by providing medical braces, prosthetic limbs, arch supports, and various orthotic devices. This role requires patient interaction and an understanding of human movement or biomechanics. The preferred candidate will possess a background in physical therapy, kinesiology, casting techniques, or orthopedics. - Collaborate with orthotic practitioners in the evaluation and analysis of a patient’s need for orthotic services.- Examine and evaluate patient's needs in relation to disease and functional loss.- Perform fitting and execute minor modifications, as necessary. - Evaluate orthotic device on patient, adjust to assure fit, function, medical efficacy, and quality of work.- Instruct patient in use of orthopedic device.- Identify and reconcile issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided.- Follow up with patients and physicians.- Provide in-service training to physicians and allied health care professionals.- Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records.- Assist other clinical staff.- Provide information to administrative staff to conduct reimbursement activities.- Adhere to all safety regulations; compliance with Medicare and other governmental regulations; compliance with bloodborne and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.

Fillauer Motion Control, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of robotic artificial arms used by amputee wearers. These ‘Myo-Electric Prosthetic’ devices are manufactured in Salt Lake City. Fillauer Motion Control, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble and test mechanical assemblies, including small geared robotic hands and arms, and small transmission and motor assemblies. The position may also be responsible for the operation of a plastic injection molding machine.

Under direct supervision of a certified clinician, assist certified and/or licensed practitioners in their provision of patient care services and perform other assigned tasks.  The Clinical Assistant will work under the general direction of the ACM/CM or his/her designee.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator - Hybrid Remote (prefer candidates from Austin, TX, South Bend, IN, Reno, NV or Alpharetta, GA) reports to the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing and is responsible for maintaining marketing data and collateral as part of the Digital Marketing team. The position will report to the Director of Accounting and Finance, Fillauer and provide customer service to the two executives managing Fillauer. Orthotic fitters provide patient care through the provision and adjustment of off the shelf and pre-fabricated orthoses.  Specifically trained and qualified to participate in the evaluation, fitting, and delivery of prefabricated orthotic devices and/or soft goods related to a patient’s needs, as indicated by a certified orthotist.  The Certified Orthotic Fitter is specifically trained and qualified to participate in the fitting and delivery of prefabricated orthotic devices and/or soft goods related to a patient’s needs, as indicated by a certified orthotist. A Certified Orthotic Fitter is competent to practice orthotics within a scope of practice that is specific to fitting certain prefabricated and off-the-shelf orthoses that do not require more than minor modification.
