Fillauer is hiring a Hook Fabrication Specialist to perform post-machining work on prosthetic hooks and their components in Chattanooga, TN.

We are seeking a Benefits & Authorization Specialist II to review patient information to ensure insurance coverage is active and contact health insurance companies to verify eligibility.  Document and maintain accurate information for patients complete and communicate current status of authorizations or Peer to Peer.   

This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to work first hand in fabricating a variety of orthotics and prosthetic devices.  You will work closely with the Clinician and patients to help adjust and repair the devices by fabricating orthoses and their components.  This work environment will be away from the exam room, typically in a small workshop. Since this role is focusing heavily on the fabrication process, hand skills and familiarity with hand tools is necessary.  The ideal candidate will have experience with band saws, drill presses, vacuum systems, heat guns, blades, speed routers, and other small hand tools.

This position is responsible for leading complex engineering initiatives focused on optimizing manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment performance. The Manufacturing Engineer III partners closely with production, design engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will use sound judgement and outside resources to adapt to non-routine aspects of a problem.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for achieving sales objectives through the cultivation of new and existing referral sources.  These sources include physicians, institutions (hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, etc.) and allied health professionals, who participate in the provision of prosthetic and orthotic products.  The primary function of this role is to manage and be accountable for achieving the forecasted sales and margin targets for the territory by developing and maintaining current business to business accounts and to consistently seek out and establish new business for the company. 

The Community Care Coordinator (CCC) provides superior patient support and customer service via proactive intervention, communication, and patient advocacy as well as providing emotional and educational support to patients and families coping with limb loss and/or a variety of orthotic and prosthetic needs. The Priority Claims Specialist III - Remote will ensure payment for services provided is accurate, timely and fully documented. Provide efficient cash collection through excellent reimbursement practices while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and established Hanger policies and compliance programs. Provides strict adherence to adjustment, refund and write-off policies/procedures as outlined in Hanger Clinic Standard Operating Procedures.  Maintain exceptional support and communication with all partners, internal and external. This is a high-dollar medical collections role operating within a Centralized Revenue Cycle Team. This is a full time, remote opportunity. Schedule will be Monday - Friday, day shift.

The Sr. Fabrication Specialist fabricates the orthoses and prostheses to provide maximum fit, function, cosmetics and workmanship. The Sr. Fabrication Specialist is expected to keep abreast of all new fabricating techniques and must be familiar with the properties of pertinent materials and must be skilled in the use of appropriate equipment.

Coordinate the work activities of a small team for timely and cost effective delivery of fabricated devices. Ensure adherence to all safety and administrative policies and procedures.
