This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to work first hand in fabricating a variety of orthotics and prosthetic devices. You will work closely with the Clinician and patients to help adjust and repair the devices by fabricating orthoses and their components. This work environment will be away from the exam room, typically in a small workshop. Since this role is focusing heavily on the fabrication process, hand skills and familiarity with hand tools is necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience with band saws, drill presses, vacuum systems, heat guns, blades, speed routers, and other small hand tools.
Provide the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees and referral sources through the coordination and administration of the “front office” activities. Accurately obtain all patient information and insurance information while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and established Company policies and compliance programs. Maintain excellent customer service relationships with patients and referral sources.
Under direct supervision* of a certified clinician, assist certified and/or licensed practitioners in their provision of patient care services and perform other assigned tasks. The Clinical Aide will work under the general direction of the ACM/CM or his/her designee.

Orthotic fitters provide independent patient care through the provision and adjustment of off the shelf and pre-fabricated orthoses, as defined by the ABC Scope of Practice. The certified fitter can be privileged to work under indirect supervision** of a certified orthotist on projects of moderate complexity or of a custom nature. They monitor the patients over time and make any necessary changes to the devices to keep them in good condition.
The Orthopedic Casting Technician is responsible for supporting clinicians and nursing personnel with orthopedic casting procedures. The technician will assist in the delivery of patient care services, primarily with applying and removing cases or splints, wound care and dressing changes. The technician is expected to keep abreast of all new casting techniques, must be familiar with the properties of pertinent materials and must be skilled in the use of appropriate equipment. Come join our quaint clinic in the heart of Madison WI, which has been in operation for over 60 years and is one of our newest Hanger Clinic locations. Here you will be working alongside CPOs, a Clinical Technician and office support staff, all working together to ensure successful patient care. Currently our patient population is across all ages. We service the greater Southern Wisconsin area and at this time, this position will encompass travel to surrounding hospitals and SNFs, within a radius of roughly 90 miles (Baraboo, Janesville, Reedsburg, Sauk Prairie, Monroe, Stoughton).
