Hanger Inc. is growing!  We have an exciting new opportunity for a Vice President of Human Resources in Austin, Texas.   In this role, you will lead Human Resources efforts for our Products and Services segment.   Your efforts will support Hanger’s mission and strategic goals, while executing strategies, programs, policies, and procedures.  Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that all our programs are consistently administered, in strict compliance with federal and state laws, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. As a strategic partner, you will be responsible for strategic leadership as well as a thought leader working collaboratively with Executives, as well as Operations, to align HR initiatives with market growth and change. This position requires 50% travel within the US. 

 

Your Impact

  • Demonstrate success as a trusted partner for business leaders at dispersed manufacturing sites 
  • Lead Human Resources efforts for organizational effectiveness, performance management, and workforce planning that drives growth. 
  • Lead a national HR/employee relations team, serving multiple business units and marketplaces.
  • Play a pivotal role within the Senior Human Resources Leadership team, offering insights into HR's strategic direction and representing the perspectives and requirements of the supported business units.
  • Spearhead the execution of HR programs within the respective business units, offering expert insights on organizational and leadership gaps, and providing consultation and coaching to regional business leaders, managers, and employees to drive business objectives and nurture positive employee relations.
  • Engage with line leaders on critical matters such as succession planning and leadership development.
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence both business and HR priorities at a strategic level.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of performance ratings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, General Business, Management or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant HR experience and a demonstrated ability to carry influence.
  • Proven track record of managing complex organizational initiatives across multiple functions and business units. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Prefer candidates who have proven experience holding a Vice President (or higher) position or equivalent.
  • Some travel via automobile, airplane and other public transportation may be required.  The employee must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures
