The IT Asset Analyst is accountable for the organization’s IT hardware and software purchasing; as well as, assisting with the management of IT assets, software, and contracts.

Your Impact

  • Provides an excellent customer service experience with internal and external customers 
  • Purchases goods and services in line with specified cost, ensures items are received, and processed correctly
  • Accurately codes invoices prior to submitting for approval
  • Reviews invoices on hold and proactively take the appropriate action
  • Improves, documents, and streamlines IT purchasing processes
  • Requests new vendor setup timely
  • Processors and document owner of all purchasing-based forms
  • Reconciles purchases against the budget and take appropriate actions on variances
  • Assists with tracking of physical audits, asset audits, and destruction of retired assets
  • Maintains inventory of licenses and contracts and ensures they are suitable for the business' need
  • Ensure hardware/software pricing sheets are updated timely and accurately 
  • Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum

  • College degree and a minimum of 2 years if related purchasing, asset management or financial experience –OR- high school diploma with 6 years of experience in purchasing or asset management.

Preferred

  • Experience in IT procurement or a subset of IT procurement
  • Work experience in a company faced with HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

  • Experience with utilizing an ITSM for work request management
