In this position, the Supply Chain Analyst II serves as a lead person in charge of all related purchasing and inventory tasks. This position also serves as a point of contact for the manufacturers and vendors that ACP works with in the development, manufacture, and distribution of its products and supplies. This person will be responsible for demand planning, purchasing, contract negotiations, and new supplier onboarding. This person is also responsible for inventory accuracy, cycle count scheduling and posting, inventory provisioning, and warehouse logistics and planning. This person will serve the manufacturers and ACP in ensuring a positive partnership between both ACP, its manufacturers, and the warehouse employees. This position is required to be on-site at the ACP Reno Resource Center.

Your Impact

  • Demand planning with collaboration from service center, warehouse, sales, and field operations team to determine appropriate demand of our products and incorporating into the necessary purchasing required to supply our customers. Manages the full procurement life cycle for therapeutic equipment and supplies, including inventory management, data analytics, international and domestic logistics management, and FDA and compliance conformance of all incoming products. 
  • Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities (e.g. materials, components, & equipment); Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of contracts to negotiate highest quality at best value.
  • Schedule Cycle counts and monitor the discrepancies. Work with Service Center and Warehouse teams to reconcile inventory discrepancies. Communicate cycle count postings with applicable finance and operations leaders.
  • Utilizes Warehouse Management System (MAS500) to continuously update inventory life cycles, MSDS requirements, shelf-life, and all applicable regulatory items related to inventory.
  • Ensures inventory locations are set up appropriately with correct labeling, positioning and order cycle quantities to allow warehouse employees to pick/ship products efficiently.
  • Run MRP in MAS500 to monitor and purchase inventory as needed.
  • Monitor and recommend end-of-life product to appropriate Operations and Finance personnel.
  • Work with receiving team to assure all incoming paperwork (Bill of Lading, Packing Slips, Invoices) are accurate and match the physical inventory received.
  • Use MAS500 to process the receipt of goods and assure that inventory is routed to appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Review, inspect, and fill out appropriate documentation for new products being evaluated (NEEF).
  • Monitor equipment packaging requirements and assure that appropriate materials are brough into inventory using JIT principles.
  • Be involved in phasing in new products and phasing out older products. Collaborating with the PD and ECO teams, own sourcing, testing, and project management tasks, as necessary for uninterrupted supply chain.
  • Serve as the key contact with our manufacturers and suppliers. Involved in setting expectations on services levels, pricing, order fulfillment and assisting in resolving issues with manufacturers. Supplier management including bi-annual vendor score card completion and ongoing oversight; negotiate terms, pricing and new opportunities for cost savings; communicate product inquiries, changes, updates, & issues; develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure ongoing and timely product acquisition; ensure supplier agreement compliance and execute corrective action plans; develop new supply sources, as necessary.
  • Collaborate with contract management, new product development and ACP leadership to take a leadership role in negotiating terms with our manufacturers.
  • Create, streamline, & document SOPS for audit and business continuity purposes.
  • Collaborating with the Finance team, manage invoice reconciliation & mediation between suppliers and Finance to ensure accuracy and timely billing.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS degree in finance or business-related field preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of two years of Purchasing and/or Inventory experience, with particular experience working in the purchasing, materials management and inventory process of companies.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
