The Logistics Analyst I role supports Supply Chain process improvement and operational efficiency across the supply chain network. This role collects and analyzes data, identifies trends, and contributes to actionable insights to optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. The analyst partners with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor business solutions that align with Hanger’s Strategic objectives.

 

Your Impact

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Collects, validates, and analyzes logistics and operational data from multiple systems to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintains reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Physically engages in processes to understand pain points or implement solutions.
  • Constructs forecast and helps to gather recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge, for leadership review.
  • Provides consultation and hands-on training to users to address & implement business issues.
  • Directly produces data and reports for analysis using systems and recognized reporting tools.

  

Knowledge and Skill:

  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment with minimal supervision.
  • Able to meet physical requirement in an office or distribution center setting.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to prioritize work in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously and independently under minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience with ERP and WMS systems
  • Familiarity with warehouse supply chain and logistics setup and operations
  • Good verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.
  • Effective communicator across all levels of business operations and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and solutions development skills.

 

Job Complexity:

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

 

Supervision Received and Exercised:

Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments

Minimum Qualifications

Experience and Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience required.
