Point Designs is a Colorado based company that manufactures high-strength prosthetic fingers for people with partial hand amputation. We are passionate about what we do and looking to add another member to our dynamic team.

 

The role includes part inspection, mechanical assembly, assembly inspection, product break-in cycling, order fulfillment, post processing, product servicing, and product development support.

Your Impact

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

 

● Preparation and assembly of heavy-duty prosthetic finger products with precision, following work instructions and specifications.

● Has knowledge of and ability to use common hand tools for assembly components per verbal, written, and drawing requirements.

● Operate production equipment proficiently.

● Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure accuracy and product excellence.

● Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Supervisors can understand.

● Safely pack and ship orders using appropriate materials.

● Provide customer service support on inbound orders or returns/exchanges

● Maintain inventory accuracy and workspace organization.

● Prioritize safety, cleanliness, and adhere to established protocols.

● Has good attention to detail

● Collaborate with the fabrication facility to meet shipping deadlines.

● Assist with R&D initiatives as required.

● Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job.

● Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment.

● Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.

● Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Technical training school or 2 years experience preferred.

Additional Success Factors

  • Knowledge and hand skills needed to fabricate and repair prostheses (artificial limbs) and orthoses (orthopedic braces) according to patient measurements, casts and in compliance with a physician's prescription
  • Mechanical ability and hand-eye coordination to use laboratory tools safely and effectively.
  • Effective organizational, time management and planning skills.
  • Good interpersonal and verbal skills for communicating with others.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.

  • Pay range of $18.00- $25.00/hour + bonus+ benefits. This pay range is posted to comply with State Law.  Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
