The Receptionist is an ambassador for Hanger and is responsible for managing the reception area in a professional manner, acting as a consistently friendly and helpful resource for visitors, employees and clients. Operate multi-line phone system, manage conference room calendar, and assist the Office Services team with clerical/administrative duties as assigned. Updating badge access as needed as well as process on and off boarding for corporate employees and contractors. Maintain badge equipment and supplies. Reconcile visitor and guest badges deactivating badges not returned. 32 Hours per week, varied schedule during Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Your Impact

  • Create a positive and professional first impression of the company by greeting and directing visitors and callers; determining the nature of business and directing to the appropriate destination, as well as answer inquiries
  • Responsible for updating corporate office directory and floor plan as well as reception and corporate office reference information
  • Maintain and assist employees scheduling conference rooms and office hoteling
  • Assist the Office Services team in a variety of administrative duties as requested
  • Send out occasional email communications to corporate employees
  • Tidy and maintain the reception, kitchen and restroom areas as needed
  • Reconcile visitor/guest sign in logs
  • Update badge access when approved and when needed as reconciled
  • Update Day Porter on immediate task

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably within a large corporate environment

  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels within and outside of Hanger
  • Efficient in MS Office Software, especially Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational and professional communication skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Professional appearance required
  • Requires analytical skills necessary to resolve problems that require the use of basic clerical/administrative principles
