Assembly Technician

Fillauer is hiring an Assembly Technician (Molding Technician) in Salt Lake City, UT to produce components and assembling parts and subassemblies to meet production schedules.

• Effectively operate injection molding machine using a variety of plastics.
• Deflashing of parts to ensure functionality and appearance.
• Follow Manufacturing Protocols to ensure tolerance are within guidelines, including using venier calipers along with digital measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Responsible for the quality of work, cosmetic appearance, and function of molded parts.
• May be cross trained and asked to perform task in areas peripheral to immediate responsibilities such as filing documents or inspection of incoming parts.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Injection molding experience strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Good math/analytical skills with ability to use tools/take measurements
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Must work well in a team environment
• Good communications skills
• Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
