Responsible for maintaining Hanger Resource Center office buildings stocking supplies and cleaning needs; such as, sweeping, vacuum, cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, maintaining common areas, restocking bathrooms and break rooms.

Your Impact

  • Consistently maintain a clean and attractive environment in all common areas, the lobby, conference rooms, and break rooms, restrooms, or other areas as assigned
  • Clean and replenish restrooms and break rooms
  • Empty, clean, and reline all waste receptacles and recycle bins as needed
  • Clean desks and cubicles where applicable
  • Clean all refrigerators, water coolers, soda, and drinking fountain machines, and microwaves as necessary
  • Clean and disinfect/sanitize chairs, all countertops, walls, partitions, and hard surfaces up to 7 feet
  • Vacuum and spot clean all carpeted floor and mats
  • Clean interior glass, mirrors, walls, surfaces, and dust as needed
  • Ensure adequate inventory of toiletries, paper products, fill all dispensers with soap, lotion, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Sweep, wet mop, disinfect, and sanitize all floors including bathrooms
  • Communicate all maintenance needs to appropriate building staff personnel
  • Dust and polish all metal surfaces including tracks, and elevator doors (if applicable)
  • Help maintain an inventory of supplies required for restocking and facility maintenance 
  • Be the Back-up Corporate Services Specialist when needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Less than 1 year of related experience required
  • Fluent in English required

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be required to sit, walk and stand; occasionally bend or twist; regularly talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms (to include reaching overhead); and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be capable of functioning effectively under moderate or high stress levels due to work subject to time constraints, responsibility to deliver, and the need for rapid adaptation within a dynamic work environment.  The employee will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work environment. The employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
