As the Facilities Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in building and improving site operations while contributing to a culture of collaboration at our Alpharetta, Georgia location. This is a mixed-use facility housing 150+ employees within office, warehouse, and manufacturing space.

     

    In the role, you will leverage your background in commercial property management, including conflict resolution and trouble-shooting to address issues involving personnel, landlords and commercial leases. You will ensure the success of day to day operations by working closely with vendor partners and trouble-shooting physical plant issues across the work site. You will possess strong communication and relationship building skills to act as a liaison between Hanger’s corporate real estate group, landlords, contractors, and other third parties on all matters related to facilities management, repair, and maintenance.  

     

    The primary objective for the position is to maximize and protect the value of Hanger, Inc.’s real estate assets while cultivating a safe, positive, work environment that contributes to our mission of Empower Human Potential Together.

    Your Impact

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Development and management of maintenance contracts for material handling equipment, with a goal of maintaining > 99.9% up time.
    • Ensure the safety and security of the facility at all entry points.
    • Negotiate and manage contracts, to include supervising scheduled maintenance as follows (not all inclusive):
      • Alarm and security access services to cover fire (sprinklers and extinguishers), carbon monoxide, door access, etc.
      • HVAC.
      • Plumbing.
      • Electrical.
      • Office area cleaning services, including restrooms and breakrooms.
      • Exterior landscaping.
      • Interface with IT on the maintenance of warehouse devices
      • Breakroom Maintenance to include:
        • Vending services.
        • Refrigeration/freezer.
        • Microwaves.
        • Ice Machines.
        • Coffee.
        • Water dispensers.
        • All other items associated with breakrooms.
        • General repairs as needed.
    • The Facilities Supervisor should also have capabilities to perform minor maintenance of equipment and cleaning.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Warehouse: Responsible for the warehouse equipment maintenance, including rolling stock, dock doors and plates, automation equipment, and other warehouse equipment.
    • Building Processes: Implement plans for fire evacuation, shelter in place for major storms, active shooter and other life/safety procedures.
    • Supervise all building/site requirements from local and state agencies as well as corporate requirements for insurance, real estate (not all inclusive).
    • Responsible for proving Onboarding support to new employees, including office / cubicle set up (office supplies, name plates, etc), issuing name badges, etc. 

    • Coordinate with the corporate real estate group, the relationship and compliance with the building landlord. 
    • Order and restock inventory and supplies for the facility
    • Perform other tasks/projects as assigned.
    • Budget formulation and expense management

    Minimum Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • 3 years’ experience related to facilities oversight and maintenance, preferably within office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments.
    • A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
