    As our Director of Finance supporting our Products and Services Segment, your demonstrated leadership and management skills will be highly valued as a key member of our team headquartered in Austin, TX.  You will enjoy an excellent opportunity to join a $1B impassioned company that endeavors to deliver advanced O&P solutions to the inspiring patients we serve.  Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer with a strong matrixed reporting relationship with the President of Products & Services, you will partner with them both to provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost/profit improvement initiatives, management reporting, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Our executive team will rely on your expertise to provide financial information that will assist them in making economic decisions about the segment’s future.  Your effective, clear and persuasive communication style will be valued across a community of colleagues committed to the pursuit of Empowering Human Potential Together.

    Your Impact

    The depth and breadth of your experience will be of significance as you:

    • Monitor daily financial results for forecast implications and prepares a bi-weekly forecast for segment financial results
    • Manage the financial calendar for the segment ensuring milestones are met, issues are resolved and resolution communicated
    • Provide leadership with routine and ad hoc reporting focused on identifying underlying business trends, and work directly with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement
    • Analyze financial and operational data, and develop financial models used to guide business decisions (e.g. profitability by customer/product line, price-volume-mix analyses, etc.)
    • Lead the segment’s annual budgets, monthly forecasts, strategic planning and variance analyses for multiple cost centers within the segment, ensuring these numbers are understood by business partners and accurately reflected in the corporate systems (Essbase, etc.)
    • Create and deliver formal presentations of financial results to senior management (Monthly Business Reviews, Budget Presentations, Strategic Plan Presentations, etc.)
    • Work with business partners to identify opportunities to improve cost structure
    • Participate in a variety of projects, preparing financial “what if” analyses, and written reports
    • Provide timely responses and deliverables to requests from internal customers including Corporate Accounting, Corporate Finance, Product Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, and segment owners
    • Perform other job duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.  MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
    • Significant finance experience is required to include at a minimum:
      • Five (5) years of multi-site business finance support
      • Five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting and finance leadership positions with involvement in the close process
      • Five (5) years of experience in business unit budgeting, forecasting, planning, analysis, delivering and preparing clear and concise financial presentations to executives
