    As our Part-Time Retail Store Associate, you will play a role in empowering human potential by providing the highest level of customer service to patients and other customers. Customers will turn to you for assistance in the selection of shoes to meet their medical and personal needs. This is a part-time position that will require you work to 25 hours per week.  

    Your Impact

    Essential Functions: Provide the highest level of customer service is provided to patients, fellow employees and referral sources.

    • Review clinician documentation to ensure that patient/customers are provided shoes and accessories to meet their needs.
    • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
    • Provide excellent customer service to every customer interaction by informing and educating people about our brand and product details.
    • Plan and run in-store presentations with the goal of making sales
    • Work with retail store management or C-Peds to ensure that customer needs are addressed.  
    • Communicate through sales reports on sales results and opportunities
    • Understand and manage product inventory and stock.


    Required Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong interpersonal, oral (including telephone) and written communication skills.
    • Ability to key 40 words per minute with accuracy preferred.
    • Ability to work with handicapped individuals.
    • Understanding of medical reimbursement and terminology and a complete understanding of general office duties.
    • Proficient computer skills including Windows based office technologies (ex. Word, Excel), e-mail and automated billing systems.
    • Ability to use all necessary office equipment, facsimile machines, calculator, postage machine, copiers, etc.
    • Knowledge of state, federal and regional collection and reimbursement laws where applicable.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Proficiency with basic math and accounting skills.


    Physical Requirements:

    • Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.
    • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
    • Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment.
    • Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.



    Minimum Qualifications


    Required Credentials:

    • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associate degree preferred.
    • Minimum two to four years office administrative experience or retail sales experience required.  Experience in a medical office preferred.
