    Oversees the development, implementation, and administration of the field compensation programs. Responsible for incentive and bonus plan design and commission administration. Prepares job descriptions, conducts job evaluation and salary surveys, establishes salary structures, develops salary budgets, and prepares policies and procedures to insure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation. Maintains a working knowledge of federal and state legislation influencing compensation. Ensures programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs. May have a role in the selection, administration and maintenance of performance management systems and HRIS management. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

    Your Impact

    • Drive and promote the integrated Total Rewards strategy regarding Compensation and Benefits
    • Ensure that Total Rewards solutions are designed and implemented effectively and in a timely manner
    • Manage external solution providers to ensure total rewards programs are competitive in the marketplace
    • Manage and maintain all aspects of total rewards programs; such benefit administration, wellness, 401(k), job descriptions, salary structures, and commissions
    • Assist in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of HR Information Systems
    • Support HR Business Partners (HRBPs) with Total Rewards solutions to enhance the employee experience and meet business needs
    • Advise HRBPs and line managers on compensation offers, pay bands, grades and career paths linked to total rewards; as well as leave administration and COBRA issues
    • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Payroll and other internal stakeholders to ensure total rewards program costs are managed effectively
    • Gather and analyze information and translate into metrics, structured reporting, and data driven analysis
    • Create scorecard and dashboards with relevant information to influence strategic planning and sound decision making
    • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance standards are met; as well as maintain a working knowledge of federal and state legislation influencing compensation and benefits

    Minimum Qualifications

    Minimum

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related field
    • A minimum of 7 years of comprehensive experience with managing compensation and /or benefit administration programs is required
    • A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

    Preferred

    • MHRM or MBA
    • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
    • Five (5) years of experience in compensation management or consulting is preferred.

    • Advanced knowledge of Benefits Administration, Benefit and Employment Law, ACA, ERISA Law, FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation and OSHA
    • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with all levels
    • Full awareness of best practices and compliance and able to incorporates into discussions, decisions and solutions
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
