    Serves as the second in charge of a specific Market in support of the Zone/Regional Vice President for the management of the O&P clinical business operations. The role may contain several key responsibilities including that of directing the Orthotics & Prosthetics operations of multiple practices within the Market; leading business initiatives; operational responsibility for critical business functions such as budgeting, financial and performance analysis and or business development and the selection and development of talent.

    Your Impact

    • As defined by the Zone/Regional Vice President, will participate in or take a lead role in the following functions.
    • Creates a continually learning environment that is consistent with the Company’s values and objectives.
    • Responsible for establishing and achieving financial, customer service, and employee goals for the Market.
    • Evaluates specific Market opportunities and implements policies to improve and expand current operations.
    • Responsible for the development and training of subordinate managers throughout the Market.
    • Establishes annual and strategic business plans and operating budgets.
    • Develops, maintains, and enhances customer relationships.
    • Ensure that all employees abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the Hanger Compliance
    • Program and Code of Professional and Business Ethics.
    • Evaluates, monitors, and continuously improves key success factors such as: employee retention, patients/employee, revenue/patient, cash collections, etc.
    • Maintains effective communications throughout the organization.
    • Responsible for salary administration, expense control, and labor utilization.
    • Ensures timely and accurate reporting of operating results on a regular basis.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • B.S. /B.A. in business, healthcare, or related discipline, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master’s Degree in same preferred.

    • Minimum five years’ experience with profit/loss accountability in multi-site service industry required.

    • A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures required.
    • Minimum three years’ experience in health care management required. Experience managing a clinical organization preferred.

    • Experience with supervision of twenty five or more employees and with annual revenues of at least $5 million.

    • Management of multiple site operations preferred.

    • Minimum five years’ experience in orthotics & prosthetics industry preferred.

    • Minimum seven years profit and loss accountability in a multi-site health care setting preferred.

    • Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
