    Could This Be For You?

    As our Regional Network Manager - Managed Care, your experience as a seasoned negotiator will be leveraged as you lead the regional strategy to support revenue growth while expanding Hanger's current contracted base. You will provide day-to-day operational support to our network payor community within your assigned territory. You will coordinate account support with internal Hanger departments to include clinical, operations, finance, sales and managed markets to ensure our payors and health plans receive exceptional customer care.

    Your Impact

    In this high impact role, you will deliver value to the enterprise by:

     

    • Overseeing the contract management process ensuring appropriate action is taken to enhance revenue retention and growth.
    • Developing, submitting, and tracking RFP, RFI and LOA proposals for account opportunities.
    • Astutely negotiating and modifying contract term language as warranted.
    • Consulting with internal and external customers cultivating highly collaborative relationships.
    • Developing mechanism to identify and address systemic contract issues for appropriate mitigation.
    • Serving as subject matter expert to support internal department stakeholders.
    • Supporting overall network strategy to meet payer and network needs and/or requirements.
    • Managing, recruiting, and supporting network providers throughout the orientation process.
    • Monitoring, educating, assessing needs, and conducting outreach ensuring compliance with all procedures and initiatives.
    • Guiding and coordinating Hanger's response to escalated issues within assigned region.
    • Traveling as necessary to deliver exception outcomes in Hanger's managed care space.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in health-care administration, business, or related field is required.

    • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in payor contract negotiations and/or contract administration role within the healthcare space.

    • A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
