    The Legal/Compliance Administrative Assistant performs administrative and clerical duties for the legal and compliance departments. Reviews, processes and responds to requests for patient files, coordinating with applicable patient care center(s). Assists with compliance documentation organization and management, facilitates and distributes compliance communications, and coordinates compliance events.  Acts as an information source for organization policies and procedures. Screens calls and takes messages. Schedules appointments. Assists in establishing, reviewing and updating policies and procedures for compliance and legal departments, and coordinates special projects and department activities.   Duties include but are not limited to:

    Your Impact

    • Type, word process and format correspondence, memorandums and reports.
    • Assist in the development of work deadlines.
    • Receive and screen incoming calls, answer questions, research and resolve problems and direct calls to appropriate person.
    • Establish, organize and maintain files, records and publications that may be confidential in nature.
    • Coordinate and organize meetings.
    • Receive and greet office visitors.
    • Handle requests and/or assignments that require knowledge of the department’s policies and procedures.
    • Communicate with both internal and external individuals.


    Additional Responsibilities:


    • Coordinate with field operations to obtain information.
    • May be required to travel between buildings or to off-site meetings on occasion.
    • Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or an equivalency certificate required. Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
