    The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for meeting sales targets thru management of a sales team. The team builds sales through the cultivation of new and existing customers.  These sources include Podiatry, Orthopedic, DME, Fabrication companies as well as hospital. This person accountable for meeting sales targets, training new hires and helping implement effective marketing initiatives.  With the input of others, you will develop strategic plans to acquire new accounts and grow existing ones. Using detailed sales forecasts you will track and report weekly on progress towards achieving those goals. 

    Your Impact

    • Achieve overall company sales targets and territory revenue objectives including execution of PADnet, custom bracing and other sales initiatives
    • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategy appropriate to meet and exceed performance goals
    • Responsible for prospecting, qualification, customer development, proposal creation, negotiation, and ultimately closing of new business agreements
    • Manage professional development to ensure team has sales skills to achieve company and territory sales targets
    • Build a robust sales funnel of target companies and opportunities
    • Evaluate business processes and develop necessary changes to ensure current business needs are met
    • Collaborate and build relationships with internal personnel and management to ensure SFT maintains the highest level of customer service;
    • Identify trends in Podiatry industry and ensure appropriate strategies are in place to capture new business; ex: identification of new products

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate judicious use of Company resources through appropriate expenditure on travel and entertainment
    • Analysis and reporting of sales performance
    • Ensure adherence to companies polices and procedures, including travel budgets
    • Work closely with the overall SFT to team to ensure we are focusing on the right products and we are reaching our customers
    • Mining of customer and vendor data to identify new business opportunities and to maximize sales and profitability
    • Continued development of Salesforce integration and utilization

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 5 – 7 years of related experience in healthcare sales
    • Non revoked, valid passenger vehicle driver’s license
    • Knowledge of Podiatry and Orthopedic industry
