Serves as the second in charge of a specific Market in support of the Zone/Regional Vice President for the management of the O&P clinical business operations. The role may contain several key responsibilities including that of directing the Orthotics & Prosthetics operations of multiple practices within the Market; leading business initiatives; operational responsibility for critical business functions such as budgeting, financial and performance analysis and or business development and the selection and development of talent.
B.S. /B.A. in business, healthcare, or related discipline, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master’s Degree in same preferred.
Minimum five years’ experience with profit/loss accountability in multi-site service industry required.
Minimum three years’ experience in health care management required. Experience managing a clinical organization preferred.
Experience with supervision of twenty five or more employees and with annual revenues of at least $5 million.
Management of multiple site operations preferred.
Minimum five years’ experience in orthotics & prosthetics industry preferred.
Minimum seven years profit and loss accountability in a multi-site health care setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, make well thought out decisions, and take decisive action.
Ability to analyze operations and identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in order to develop a Market strategic plan/vision.
Flexibility/adaptability to rapidly changing Market.
Knowledge of multi-site operations managed from central location.
Ability to analyze and manage quantitative business and financial information.
