As a HR Business Partner, you help to fulfill Hanger’s purpose of empowering human potential together by supporting our valued employees and business units through the delivery of employee relations, training, organizational development, change management, workforce planning and performance management activities.  You will be based out of our corporate headquarters at The Domain in Austin, TX. 

Your Impact

Your ability to professionally partner with senior line managers and HR leaders to support the execution of HR programs and initiatives within our client groups will have meaningful impact at all levels by: 

  • Providing HR Business team support to our IT, Real Estate, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, PR, Compliance, and Legal business leaders.
  • Leading and supporting the execution of HR programs in the respective business units, providing a point of view on organizational and leadership gaps, consultation and coaching to business leaders, managers and employees to help drive business goals and foster positive employee relations.
  • Engaging line leaders in performance management issues, leadership succession and selection, organizational effectiveness, change management, diversity, career development, and leadership development.
  • Participating on Enterprise-wide initiatives and projects in support of this dynamic organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant HR experience including corporate and field assignments is required.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, General Business, Management or similar required.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.

  • Ability to quickly gain the respect of client groups and HR team.
  • Ability to identify and explain the HR implications for complex business strategies and situations; providing talent solutions to achieve those business goals.
  • Effective interactions with all levels of employees, across different locations and cultures.
  • Strong collaboration skills; able to partner with line leaders and HR colleagues dispersed across the country in remote environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs in a variety of meiums such as classroom, OJT, e-learning, etc.
  • Strong business acumen in addition to highly developed oral and written communications.
  • Effective PC skills in common software applications such as spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
