As the Talent Acquisition Partner supporting the hiring of clinicial and medical office staff for our clinics located across the U.S.  Your expertise in developing candidates within the healthcare sector is highly valued and will be critical to providing our teams and hiring managers with the best service possible.  Our patients are at the heart of everything we do and as a Talent Acquisition Partner you have the ability to help impact and shape their experience with us through the talent you source, the relationships you develop, and the expertise you deliver.

 

You will be responsible for passive candidate development, posting positions, screening resumes, interiewing canddiates, and referring well-qualified talent to your hiring managers.  You are in intrical extension of their teams.

 

You will be expected to provide a high level of customer service in interviewing and advising applicants and advocating well-qualified candidates.  Your ability to serve as a true partner to the business and as a liasion to the larger human resources effort is critical to your ability to have impact.  Your wide degree of creativity, business understanding, and personal organization is a true asset. 

Your Impact

  • Provide exceptional service and full lifecycle recruiting within Hanger, Inc.
  • Confer with hiring managers to identify personnel needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
  • Work with hiring managers to obtain or write complete and detailed job descriptions, ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements.
  • Leverage online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
  • Create and foster relationships with colleges, professional organizations and other community contacts to attract and recruit a broad range of talented candidates.
  • Conduct cold calls to passive candidates to further develop our relationship with O&P clinicians throughout the market.
  • Review resumes and candidate credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the Company and the position.
  • Prescreen candidates. Create and present prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval.
  • Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates.
  • Interview all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers.
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare candidates for interviewing with Hanger Orthopedic Group, Inc. and with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information about the Company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.
  • Review the hiring manager’s interview results with each candidate and take appropriate action when warranted.
  • Perform detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers.
  • Extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within Hanger Orthopedic Group, Inc. guidelines and Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and quality-improvement studies with hiring managers and new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a thorough and accurate audit if required.
  • Initiate and maintain excellent working relations within the Human Resources organization.
  • Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies. 
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
  • Perform other related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and three (3) years of recruitment experience -OR- High School Diploma and a minimum of seven (7) years of recruitment experience is required.
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting for clinical positions (physicians, nursing, prosthetists, orthotists, therapists, etc.) within the healthcare arena is strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for a federal contractor is also preferred.
  • Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system such as iCIMS is preferred.

  • You must have recruiting experience within a healthcare organization or a third party search firm recruiting for clients within the healthcare sector handling challenging human resource/recruitment issues in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience is essential. You must have demonstrated appropriate customer service attitudes and services in a variety of human resource settings.
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources: The candidate should possess a good understanding of the basics of human resource management functions such as compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, training and development.
  • Teamwork/Collaboration: The candidate must possess demonstrated skills and abilities in collaborative efforts with experience in team/project oriented activities.
  • Flexibility: The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to adapt to a variety of human resource issues with successful outcomes and must demonstrate openness to new ideas and approaches.
  • Supporting Diversity: The candidate must possess a strong understanding and appreciation of a diverse work environment and ensure that where possible a diverse talent pool is used to identify qualified candidates.
  • Interpersonal Skills: The candidate must possess the ability to relate well to people and work in cooperation with others to effectively coordinate activities in order to accomplish tasks.
  • PC/Technology Skills: The candidate must have a basic proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and presentation software.
  • Judgment: The candidate must have demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results
  • Organization: Must organize/prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects and function effectively as a small-team member.
