Overview

The Lead Financial Reporting Analyst will focus on the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements for external reporting, including the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, statement of cash flows, statement of stockholder’s equity and certain required footnotes and disclosures.  Responsible for preparation of supporting documentation of SEC periodic, quarterly and annual filings.  Additional responsibilities may include certain aspects for month-end close, reconciliations and journal entries.  Contributes to special projects as the needs arise.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and Form 10-K and 10-Q filings with the SEC, including footnotes and other required disclosures.
  • Prepare financial reporting packages and supporting schedules for management and quarterly press releases
  • Preparation of the supporting tie-out documentation for external filings.
  • Assist with information request from external auditors during quarter and year-end review processes
  • Creation of monthly cost center level Hyperion financial reports and publishing them to business owners
  • Preparation and filing of U.S. Census forms with the Department of Commerce
  • Preparation of supporting documentation in compliance with the Company’s accounting policies and SOX documentation requirements.
  • Monthly reconciliation of key accounts and various financial analyses to monitor the accounts of the acquired companies in the post-close integration process (intangibles).  
  • Perform various aspects of the monthly, quarterly and yearly close process
  • Perform special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least 5 years of experience in public company or accounting firm with public company clients
  • CPA is a plus
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP
  • Both excellent organization skills and excellent attention to detail are requirements
  • Ability to analyze problems and present potential solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure within strict time constraints
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs with experience with SharePoint a plus
  • Working knowledge of Workiva/Wdesk a plus
