Hanger, Inc., is preparing to emerge from a financial restatement period with a strong controls environment and an efficient accounting and financial operation. We are seeking a Sr. Technical Accountant with strong accounting/analytical skills and experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment to join our Revenue Accounting team. The Revenue Accounting team is an integral part of the accounting and finance department. This specialized team is tasked with being the subject matter experts for the enterprise’s accounting and reporting of revenue and receivables. This a highly visible role which provide reports and analysis to senior management related to revenue, accounts receivable, and various ad-hoc projects.
The successful candidate will have both a solid understanding of accounting principles as well as demonstrating excellent business insight in order to anticipate and deliver actionable information on a timely basis. Having the ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative manner with other departments such as IT will be very important in helping to achieve the team’s goals. The ideal candidate thrives on finding solutions, automating processes, and are always continuing to look for improvement opportunities.
Intermediate to advance Excel skills are necessary to improve, build and maintain the department’s various models. Being able to work with a “sense of urgency” and maintain composure under strict deadlines coupled with a “can do” attitude are also key attributes for this role’s success.
