The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing opportunities in both current and adjacent markets and all upstream marketing activities. This includes conducting ongoing market research and analysis to uncover opportunities and address unmet needs through innovative program and product development, managing products and programs lifecycles, gathering and prioritizing requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with product development, clinical, and regulatory/operations teams to deliver successful products and programs. Your Impact

  • Conduct market research, forecasts, and sales analytics to identifies market shifts, trends, threats and opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize on uncovered opportunities in the entire Physical Rehabilitation care continuum. Current and adjacent markets.
  • Maintain high level of product, regulatory and market knowledge
  • Work with Marketing Manager to develop and execute launch, advertising, awareness, and lead-gen campaigns
  • Work with Marketing Manager to develop and execute the company’s Content Marketing strategy
  • Work with Marketing Manager to product product/program specials, promotions and events
  • Lead the marketing development effort to bring new products and programs from concept through commercialization
  • Develop, organize and lead product/program and sales/marketing training (internal and external)
  • Be a Brand Champion!
  • Build key relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Continuously analyze sale and market data and trends
  • Manage budget
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  • Interface with R&D to develop product line extensions and product improvements
  • Run beta, A/B and pilot programs with early-stage products and programs
  • Develop the core positioning, messaging, product packaging and content
  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses
  • Provide in-depth analysis of market, industry and competitors
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Collaborate with industry thought-leaders, product/program/customer champions
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing medical devices and/or services. Physical Therapy experience preferred.
  • B.A./B.S. degree, preferably including formal studies in business
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Experience managing medical device products, from development through launch
  • Experience in Home Health (HH), Outpatient (OP), Hospital and Skilled Nursing (SNF), settings preferred
  • Market research experience
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching successful products
  • Experience with cross-functional teams that include engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, sales, and marketing staff
  • Seasoned experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel 25-50%
