Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a uniquely qualified individual to join us on the ground-floor of a sweeping transformation.  Hanger is preparing to emerge from a financial restatement period with a strong controls environment and an efficient accounting and financial operation.  In order to take us to the next level, we are seeking to add a Financial Analyst to our Systems, Process Improvement and Reporting team within the Finance Shared Services group.  This position will initially focus on the Order to Cash area with opportunities to expand into other cycles as systems and processes stabilize and mature.

 

The primary focus of this role will include searching, planning, designing and implementing new strategies, systems, business processes, controls and operational efficiencies within the company.  We are seeking a candidate with a strong external audit background dealing with public companies, who is also a subject matter expert in end-to-end processes, data management, US GAAP and management reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Implement automated reconciliations in ReconNet and revise related accounting policies
  • Investigate root cause to increase system auto match
  • Test interfaces into ReconNet
  • Review and change GL Mapping Structures from billing systems to GL
  • ERP Implementation
  • Develop and support Order to Cash processes for post-acquisition integration
  • Document procedures, and perform self-assessments for compliance, especially with regards to SOX controls
  • As we continue to grow and develop other opportunities will be available

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA or MBA Preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a minimum of 3 years of external audit of public companies
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills – able to create and manipulate Pivot Tables, V-lookups, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints
  • Experience driving automation and continuous process enhancements
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to quickly develop working relationships
  • Healthcare experience preferred
