As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of the internal information. You will have the ability to lead projects that often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, including PC deployment and the like. In this critical role, you will coordinate work performed by our IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop detailed project plans that allows you to use your management skills to manage all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. There will be additional projects that may vary in number, size and complexity


  • Provide direction and leadership to all resources in the performance of project assignments and activities.
  • Determine project scope and detailed requirements, based on a thorough understanding of the business goals and objectives, as well as user needs.
  • Develop project budgets that include necessary capital expenditures, operational expenses and labor requirements.
  • Develop project schedules (WBS) in MS Project and / or in PPM platform, prepare meeting minutes/agendas, and track all project action items to successful completion.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure thorough planning of design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
  • Maintain adherence to the established IT Project Governance framework from project initiation to completion, while utilizing the appropriate project methodology (agile, waterfall, etc.).
  • Identify and coordinate solutions to complex problems considering resources, human and system capacity, and limitations.
  • Effectively communicate and work with Business Users, Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, and all levels of management across the enterprise in a fast paced environment.
  • Manage third party vendor relationships as part of a technology implementation or development project.
  • Provide timely reporting to management regarding status, risks, and issues.
  • Resolve issues that cannot be resolved by team members.
  • Performs Project Management best practices as defined by PMBOK


  • BS level education or equivalent in a related field plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of enterprise technology platforms, infrastructure, software development and business application implementation project management experience is required. 
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Large scale ERP implementation project management experience a plus.
  • Technology project management in a health-care environment a plus.
  • Proficient using MS Project.
  • Have experience communicating with cross-functional teams and being the champion for business technology projects.
  • Agile and Waterfall experience desired.
  • Strong planning, communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, have strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills to ensure all established deadlines are  achieved.
  • Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, a high drive to succeed and be above all, a problem solver
